We were visiting New Smyrna for the first time and did not know where to stay. We were very lucky to find the Night Swan. The inn keepers are very friendly and accommodating. Our room is very nice and comfortable. I ham working from the front porch today using the Inns wifi and it works fine. I recommend everything about the Night Inn.

I stayed at this B & B with a big group of people recently. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and beautiful intracostal location. They made breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all of us each day we were there. I let them know that I am dairy and gluten free ahead of time, and they created such amazing substitutes for me- I never once felt like I was missing out on a meal! I wanted to seriously take the chef home with me :) Took one of the best sunrise pictures of my life from the front porch of this place! I didn't expect it to be such a short drive from Orlando- I expect to be back some time in the future!

We typically stay at the Hampton on Flagler Ave. due to the convenience of the restaurants and bars. However, due to spring break, it was quite pricey. And, in comparison, the Night Swan was a much better deal. We decided to try it out because friends of ours thought it was really great. Our focus was paddle boarding and it was a great location for that. They had enough parking to accommodate our truck with a bed extender for the boards, and the owners offered the garage for us to store them in overnight. We were also able to bring a second, smaller vehicle to drive around town. We still went to Flagler Ave., and that is close enough for a bike ride. The breakfasts were great! And they did have a full size guest fridge in the community kitchens, as well as waters and sodas (priced on the honor system), ice, and free ice cream cones! The owners were extremely polite. It is a beautifully landscaped property. The room we had (Osprey) was clean and had the perfect amount of space, comfortable bed. Love the old, creaky wood floors. We will definitely be back - probably A LOT since we visit NSB quite often!

Stayed here last weekend for a little getaway and it was wonderful. We were able to get a room where we could have our little dog which made this place even better! Betsy was very friendly and a wonderful host!! We will definitely be back!!

Our second stay here and I'll dare say that this one is even better than the first! Our hosts, Matt and Betsy, have been most gracious and our outing with Captain Pete was the tops. Today was overcast and I spent my time reading on the enclosed porch overlooking the intracoastal waterway and the wonderful Dolphins. I can think of no better way to loll the day away. A quick lunch at Yellow Dog Eats (see my other review) and a cold beverage before my friends and I gear up for a New Years Eve celebration with Matt and B at the Night Swan Inn.

Spent a relaxing weekend at this very charming inn. The room was very comfortable and clean and had a beautiful view of the water. We loved the breakfast each morning, the movies and games, and the freezer stocked with icecream! As a couple in our 30s we weren't sure what to expect in New Smyrna and we were pleased with everything we found. The inn is walking distance from the beach, we saw wild dolphins, and we had a great time at the manatee marine reserve which was a short drive away. The inn is also walking distance from good restaurants, shops, and even a microbrewery.

Looking for a place to stay an NSB, decided to go off the beach. Something close to the beach, yet quiet and peaceful. Night Swan was the spot! Had a very comfortable room. Large bathroom, nice large bed. The B&B overlooks the river and it is a very peaceful spot, great place to relax. You can sit on the dock, which has a nice upper level with chairs, tables, etc., and watch the boats go by, or sit in the lawn chairs and relax in the shade. Breakfast is good, quick and satisfying. Coffee is OK. I like it a little stronger myself... Great change from beachside where everything is crowded and hurried, yet close enough to be on the beach in minutes. Oh, yes, dogs are welcome!

Breakfast was great, the price was reasonable and our room had a great view of the intercostal and a private front porch. The owners are very friendly and accommodating as well. It is not a five star luxury hotel, but very cute and homey. The type of place you can just relax at and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine with that old-time florida feel.

Sabrina and I got to spend a couple of days here this week. Her first....My second. It is WONDERFUL. The grounds are beautiful, the owners are very accommodating and the breakfasts (with mimosa's) are great. Fabulous place to stay after spending the day on the CO beach. 8-)

Nice location with a large, shaded lawn. There is usually a nice ocean breeze. Very good view. Common areas are nicely decorated, breakfasts are very good, and the owners and staff are very hospitable. I plan on staying here regularly.

One of the best B & B's we have ever stayed at! Betsy and Matt are fabulous hosts and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that you have an incredible experience. The rooms are spacious and private. The front porch offers a breathtaking view of the intercostal. The breakfast is very delicious and we especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed juices. We look forward to our next stay at the NIght Swan!

WARNING: LONG REVIEW Reason for Travel: 10 year wedding anniversary with the hubs & "Take Your K9 to the Beach" Holiday!! Duration: Friday night- Monday morning Review: Booking Servies: Emailed the B&B, then called for confirmation--Very friendly & prompt email response!! ***** Guest Services: Exceptional!! Friendly. American. Check-In & check-out was no hassle. Martha, Michael, and Heather were all so hospitable and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure every small detail was addressed! ***** Security: Well-lit parking lot at night. No one lingering in parking lot after hours. No creepy people walking in the streets. Room: ((Mainsail)) Exceptional! I was thoroughly impressed! Mini Kitchenette with a sink, microwave, fridge, & coffee maker in room, even chocolate chip cookies on the nightstand. The housekeeper brought us an iron. The bed was very comfortable for my liking, lots of extra pillows on the king-sized bed, just the way I like it. Cable t.v. on small flatscreen. Free WiFi--very fast. The room and hardwood/tile floors were very clean. There is an additional room in this room big enough for a futon and a small desk, which housed my parents for one night. They are chronic complainers and nagged about the comfort of sleeping on the futon. Extremely PET FRIENDLY room! Both of my labs LOVED staying there! Bathroom: Large and clean! Water pressure was AWESOME--and it came at you from the right and left. The walk in shower was perfect for handicap people or bathing a pooch, which we took full advantage of!! Breakfast: I should rate this by meal, because the Caramelized Banana French Toast that they served received 5 STARS!! ***** Michael even made us scrambled eggs that morning, because another guest had asked for them. Heather made quiche' one day of egg, cheese, and bacon that was really delicious, and she served us sand dollar pancakes because one of the guests didn't eat eggs. (Not really sure how that worked, since pancakes are made with eggs!) The quiche' was 5 STARS ***** as well. On Monday morning, we had waffles topped with pecans, strawberries, and chocolate chips. They were not my fave, but they were good. I'd give them 4 Stars **** The Inn: There are so many great compliments I have for this quiet, intimate place, but one of my favorite memories will be when my husband and I opted to buy a take-out pizza and bring it back to the front porch and dine alone. It was so lovely! Although we didn't see any dolphins that evening, overlooking the waterway was calming and peaceful. The view was spectacular--especially at sunrise. It was within walking distance to a park for our 2 labs to run and play, a great fishing spot, and the intercostal waterway. ****** Great location for safety, breakfast, and service! I will definitely lodge here again :)

Came down for Daytona with a buddy...we shared a room at this romantic place with great homemade breakfasts, cool sunsets and even cooler people. This was probably one of the best places I ever stayed only with one problem--I was with my buddy not my lady! That was the only thing I'd change! I am working on my timeshare proposal as we speak, and I get that balcony room next time! Cant do much better. Book early.

My husband and I spent the long Labor Day weekend at the Night Swan. We were a bit apprehensive after looking at the prices online as we typically stay at more moderately priced places, but we did want to share in a B & B experience, and the Night Swan was a wonderful place to have just that. The location was very easy to find and in a quiet residential neighborhood facing the intracoastal. Upon entering the home we would soon share, we were greeted by Heather in the kitchen. She was preparing pie crusts for the next morning's breakfast and placing cookies into the oven for guests. She expedited our payment, grabbed the keys to our room, and took us around for a tour. The house is very big and one of three on the property. The main house where we stayed had a beautiful living room downstairs with coaches, a tv, and a fireplace, along with tons of books and dvds. There was usually cookies out for guests, a carafe of fresh coffee, and a jug of refreshing water with lemon. Heather shared that we had access to all of these amenities. She then took us into the guest kitchen which is connected to the larger kitchen. Here we had a large guest refrigerator, filled with sodas, bottled waters, and all you can eat ice cream. They also had hot chocolate :) Heather then escorted us upstairs to our room facing the river. She showed us how everything in the room worked and provided us with a map of the area. She highlighted the best places to visit and asked us what we had researched on our own to see whether it was a win-win or should be tweaked. Heather showed us a basket outside the room with other amenities offered in case we forgot anything at home. All of these were complimentary. She wished us a great night and left us to explore the rest of the resort. The room was a tad small but comfortable. The pillows were great. TV in the room was new. Fan ran well without any noise, however, the air conditioning could not be set from our room individually and it did get warm at night. The bathroom in the room (toilet/sink) was extremely small but the shower was large enough for a family. All in all, good experience. During our two mornings, we had delicious breakfast thanks to Heather. Everything was homemade and certainly made with love. We enjoyed the most wonderful french toast, peach cobbler upside down cake, ginger scones, an amazing quiche, and homemade granola. Coffee and juice was available daily, but I was able to get them to make me cold chocolate milk as I'm a kid at heart, and they obliged with a smile each time. The hospitality at this B & B is second to none. They were so sweet and went the extra mile whenever they could. After visiting the Kennedy Space Center and banging me knee extremely hard on the bus, it was rough for me to move my right knee. Even though we called down at 10 PM, Mat came running in to get a ziploc bag and ice and made sure I was OK. I wouldn't have gotten this at a Hilton, Hyatt, or Radisson. Anyway, hands down an amazing experience over all. I highly recommend the Night Swan and my hats go off to Heather, who was exceptional every step of the way. Michelle & Lucio

We like to stay here when traveling through NSB on our boat. The cool thing is its right on the water so you can just tie up to the dock, and the other AWESOME thing for us is they have a few dog friendly rooms so we can bring our pups. All in all its a very comfortable and charming place.

This is a fairly quiet joint near the beach that allows one to beach all day long, come back and crash and get up and do it the next morning (after a pitch perfect breakfast, that is). It took my staying here, my first ever bed and breakfast establishment, to wonder why I hadn't done this sort of thing before. Homemade banana french toast (yeah, they even made their own bread!) on the porch in the morning, looking out at the pier and sun rising, well, that was the proverbial icing on the cake, so to speak. They couldn't have been friendlier, either. I don't say this about a lot of places, but I do believe I'll go back. I was only there overnight thanks to a Groupon but, with that kind of charm and service, I could've stuck around a week, easy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Night Swan. It is also pet friendly, so that's a huge PLUS! We stayed in the 2bdrm cottage in the back which was very private and nice. After breakfast each morning we would return to our cottage to discover it had been cleaned and beds freshly made. That was very nice. The chef specializes in low-something diet, and we would have much preferred a traditional egg/bacon breakfast. That being said, the breakfast was very tasty! We had no complaints. She does a good job of making the food taste good. The owner, Martha, did an outstanding job of making sure we were well taken care of. At night we would walk across the street to the private dock and watch the boats go by as we drank our glass of wine. Sometimes we'd sit on the front porch. Martha provides ice cream in the freezer, so grabbing an ice cream cone and going for a late-night walk was always on our agenda. This place is very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend staying here.

Welcoming & "homey" - We had a big room with a very comfortable bed, consistent & quiet central air conditioning with excellent, quiet ceiling fans-proper circulation is a must in a good night's sleep! A nice hot breakfast in the mornings that was tasty and unique each day-the server/cook was very pleasant and I felt right at home. Enjoyed the ease at parking, access to a kitchen with ice cubes, water and treats. Enjoyed easy access to coffee, tea, and other little necessities....Room had a fridge and micro- and cookies waiting for us upon arrival. Check in was a breeze and the gal was very friendly and showed us all the amenities with a brief "walk thru". There are many books and magazines to read on the property. It's about a 3-5 minute drive to the beach & nearby restuarants. We enjoyed a night walk through the neighborhood (it's mostly a residential area - you would need to drive for a better assortment of eateries and any entertaiment like bars or things to do). The tv was new - good sized flat screen, good selection of channels. The private dock was nice to have a cold drink on, and of course, we did, several times. Jacuzzi tub was an awesome treat, I loved it!. I think it was a good value, and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles - exactly what the Dr. ordered. We don't have any bugs in L.A., so that was something we were not accustomed to - I would say that was a minor inconvenience, but usually the breeze from the water kept them off us- we had a few a bites. I would recommend this for an adult retreat but I think having kids there would be too loud as it's pretty easy to hear everything around you. I really enjoyed the personal touch including the homemade desserts and the porch swing. They seem to make every effort in making the stay everything you could wish for in a B&B vacation.

This is a beautiful b&b located in a very convenient location, right on the intercoastal waterway! We were within walking distance of a couple of cute restaurants and within a 5 min drive to everything New Smyrna Beach has to offer (restaurants, beach, nightlife). It was super quiet and very relaxing. The staff was helpful and cared about every detail- without being overbearing. We would definitely stay at the Night Swan again!
